The Past

Hello! Yes, the past, that should be our topic next week. In order to warm up, here you have a couple of videos to watch:

1. Past Tense Conversation Practice

A funny example of the kind of conversation we expect to have with you next week, with questions and answers, by TeacherTom.

2. The Post War Dream (Pink Floyd)

A beautiful song, written immediately after the Falklands War, in which they reflect on the idea of perpetual peace after World War II. Please remark the past tenses in it: when do they use the past simple (did) and the present perfect (have done)?

Here you have the full lyrics of the song.

By the way: one of our exercises next week will be the game of "Never Have I Ever". If you want to get ready for it, I recommend you to take a look to the webpage Oh Yes, We Have The 250 Best "Never Have I Ever" Questions, Well, Ever.

See you!

Here you have a couple of videos from Friends just to warm-up. During our conversation group you will have to answer the questions which appear on the first of them:

If you want to get more specific examples of each of these two future tenses, you can also watch these short videos:

See you next week!
